Major Early is small in stature but large on confidence.

Story[]

A former Confederate now back in service to the Union, Major George Early was responsible for a 600-head cattle drive on its way to Canada when winter weather derailed his plans. He asked his foreman Kelso Prather and trailhand Cheyenne Bodie to stay on over the winter and take care of the herd until better weather would make it possible to move on. When a young trailhand named Bushrod also volunteered to stay on, Early reluctantly agreed.

A small but courageous man, Early had no problem confronting the nefarious criminal known as The Dutchman with a warning about stealing cattle.
